Set Decision Maker (no previous selection)

Pre-conditions

• An administrator must have a scenario open that contains at least one inject (Add Inject to POD)
• The POD containing the inject must have at least one participant
• A POD participant must have the same scenario open
• None of the POD participants are assigned as the inject's decision maker

Steps

1. In the browser showing the POD participant's view, click the inject in the Events and To-dos list
2. Make sure the Task tab is active
   • If the POD contains ONLY ONE participant, the decision area of the Task tab is enabled, i.e. the user can enter and submit a decision
   • If the POD contains MORE THAN ONE participant, the decision area of the Task tab is disabled, i.e. the user cannot enter a decision and a message is shown indicating that another user is responsible for entering this decision
3. In the browser showing the administrator user's view of the scenario, locate the inject and click the Decision Maker icon
   • The Set Decision Maker dialog is displayed
   • The list contains the usernames of all the users assigned to the POD
4. Select the user you want to assign as the inject's decision maker (the user open in the other browser)
5. Click OK

Post-conditions

• In the browser showing the POD participant:
  • If the POD contains ONLY ONE participant, the decision area of the Task tab is STILL enabled, i.e. the user can STILL enter and submit a decision
  • If the POD contains MORE THAN ONE participant, the decision area of the Task tab is now enabled, i.e. the user can now enter and submit a decision
