Update Account

Pre-conditions

• Must be logged in
• Must be viewing the dashboard

Steps

1. Click the profile image or username at the top right of the page
   • The Account Information page is displayed. It contains:
     • username box (disabled)
     • email box
     • first (given) name box
     • last (family name box
     • password box
     • re-enter password box
2. Change the given and family name
3. Click Update

Post-conditions

• The success message is displayed
• Exiting and re-entering the Account Information page, the form fields show the updated values

Exceptions:

• Error: if the user enters a password in one box but not in the other (ok if both are left empty, in which case, the password remains unchanged)
• Error: if the user tries to enter an invalid password
• Error: if the passwords do not match
• Error: if the user tries to enter an invalid (non-well-formed) email address
